Balmar Finance Inc. is a company incorporated in The Bahamas under the International Business Companies Act, which is to say it is a Bahamian IBC.

The company provides financing, accounting, and cashflow management services to Canadian and international companies looking to lend to, and/or invest in, Canadian real estate projects.

(The company does not finance projects in The Bahamas.)

Balmar earns interest income, fees for arranging loans (facility fee), and fees for administering and monitoring loans (management fee).

Balmar grows its business by either initiating loans directly or by acquiring portfolios that become available in Canada. Purchases are funded with a combination of debt and equity.

Given the company’s strict policies regarding KYC, CDD, AML, and ATF, new business is considered solely based on referral from existing partners.
